Sugar Shane Mosley knocked out Antonio ‘The Tijuana Tornado’ Margarito in round nine of their much awaited bout. Shane Mosley was the underdog going into the fight. It seemed that tonight Antonio Margarito had no answer for the speed of Shane Mosley who landed counter rights after counter rights. Shane Mosley never looked that good and was in the zone tonight, giving his fans the perfect fight. Mosley never was short of combos, to which Margarito had little answers. He did work the body of Sugar Shane with some nice shots but there was no stopping Mosley tonigh, who didn’t flinch. It seemed Mosley always was a step ahead of Antonio. It was in the eight round that the beginning of the end unfolded for Antonio Margarito: a flurry of punches sent him down and the bell rang. Courageously, he stepped up not fully recovered for the ninth round, only to be knocked out by the perfect Shane Mosley.
